We believe in diversity and equality through performing and the bringing together of communities from different backgrounds and cultures in Hertsmere to learn, experiment and explore performing arts.
The aim of Creative Learning (Body Basic & RUSH: Young Leaders in Our Community) is to bring performing arts to a suburban area making high quality performances more accessible to those who struggle to travel into London. Affordable dance classes in Hertsmere! We are focused and committed to performance, community engagement and artistic development in a variety of settings.
We aim to promote creativity and performance skills in a positive and vibrant environment.
All tutors have a CRB enhanced disclosure and are first aid certified

Revamped Farriers Community Centre opens next week with Pair Dance STRIDE
We are once again featured in the Borehawood times with Pair Dance | Creative Learning
The group will be performing to visitors and also looking for members to join new subsidised classes at the centre.

A NEW £150,000 community centre in Farriers Way will officially open next week.
Housing association Affinity Sutton has invested heavily to transform the Farriers Community Centre.
It has been closed for five months while builders made extensive changes, including a new roof, kitchen, bathroom and computer suite.
Matthew Parsonage, head of neighbourhood investment for Affinity Sutton, said: “We hope that Farriers Community Centre will become a real hub of the community.
“We want the facility to be well used by all ages for a wide range of activities for a long time to come – everything from helping people get back into work through CV workshops to IT courses.”
On Saturday, August 13, a launch party from 12.30pm to 4pm will officially open the revamped facility.
Residents are welcome to turn up between 12.30pm and 4pm.

Wonder week - Hertswood specialist performing arts school
Hertswood, five years after its creation in 2000, was recognised as an Arts College in September 2005. The arts are an important and central feature of the school, offering opportunities for students to work creatively in the visual and performing arts, both within and beyond the curriculum.

The Big Picnic - Aberford Park 19th June

Dance Challenge Community Showcase - Wyllyotts Theatre Potters Bar
We are excited to announce that our Creative Community Learning programme will perform as part of Dance Challenge Community Showcase 2011 at Wyllyotts Theatre Potters Bar.
Choreographed by Michael Joseph with music arranged by Richard Leonard this event is a great opportunity for young people who attend our current weekend programme RUSH – Young Leaders in our community.
All ideas, movements and structure are created and devised by young people.

We are extremely happy to provide Hertswood Specialist Performing Arts School with RUSH Young Leaders in our community workshop. Taught by Michael Joseph and assisted by Iris Calherios, young people will learn a contemporary dance sequence and create small movement phrases.
Pair Dance will be taking part in Wonder Week as part of the schools summer scheme which will include an informal showing at The Ark Theatre, Borehamwood....Watch this space!!

A Street dance workshop in French. Young people will learn to pronounce body parts in French! and have fun learning a language whilst moving!!
This method has been used all over the world and is extremely efficient particularly for young people with special needs.
Michael Joseph from Pair Dance will visit the French Club Escargot this Saturday.
